Painting in public transforms a private, introspective act into a shared social space.
The act in itself becomes a sort of performance to the public observing. Passersby stop, watch,
and engage. What initially felt like an interruption soon revealed itself as a vital exchange: a
moment where the boundary between artist, observer, and environment blurs. Recently, I have
invited onlookers to step into the work, placing marks of their own directly onto the wall.
These unscripted contributions act as ripples in my creative pool. They force me to let go of
absolute agency, embracing uncertainty and finding peace within the unknown.
